It's First Fridays, Kansas City's monthly arts + antiques celebration! I've been a First Fridays lover since we moved to KC and regularly spending the evenings strolling the Crossroads galleries and the days antique hunting in the West Bottoms. Bella Patina is one of my favorite West Bottoms store where you can find a wide range of antiques, local goods, furniture, clothes, and more. The top floor of Bella Patina is home to one of my favorite KC boutiques, Lou & Renae!

Lou & Renae is a mother/daughter boutique with a great selection of apparel, jewelry, beauty products, and home decor! And don't fret if you can't make it to the West Bottoms this weekend - Lou & Renae is online too! I had the chance to partner with Lou & Renae and Nick Allen Photo to style some of their new and most-loved items! All these photos were taken at or around Monarch Coffee by the way - special thank you to them for letting us use their beautiful space!

The gals behind Lou & Renae do a great job of curating pieces that strike a balance between being classic and on-trend. All the items I styled could be easily incorporated into my wardrobe and dressed up or down. Versatility such an important factor when I'm deciding what to add to my wardrobe!

Right now Lou & Renae is offering 20% off their bath balms for my readers and followers who enter the code "Annie" at checkout!

  1. Great! It is celebration time for you. Happy to know about the same. My sister also planned a similar party for her friend few days back. Lunch was tasty and event locations booked for it was unique anyways. Loved the amazing cake design and food served was undoubtedly of high quality.
